Keep organized. Write a lot of notes to yourself.

Unless you are a superhuman, you need documentation to remember all the fine details of your addon editing project.

Rpt

Keep the document text file in a central specific location where you always find it. Personally here at PMC we use documentation directory structure like:

Jan 5, 2015 - The Arma 3 Server RPT Log is missing. I found the log folder and proceeded to the console folder, and it does indeed hold files but the log. The arma3.rpt, arma3.bidmp and arma3.mdmp files are located in your -profiles root directory, or if used without this parameter then it can be found in these default locations: Just copy. I have tried a good deal to no avail. Checked Arma 3's integrity cache, switched between dev branch and normal version. Cleared my Workshop mod list from all deprecated mods that i was still subscribed to. Unsubscribed and resubscribed to a bunch of mods. Switched the folder location forth and back. Anything short of reinstalling steam and Arma 3. Firstly download SteamCMD and copy it to a folder on your local computer where you would like run it. Note this will not be the location of the ArmA3 server files. For the purposes of this tutorial we will copy it to C: valve cmdline. Next open a text editor and create a new file in C: valve cmdline.

As you can see its organized to /Documents/ directory system. Each and every piece of text file (we prefer text files as they are light weight, easy to read and search) will be put on this directory, important ones used daily will be linked to windows desktop so you can open the text file just by clicking its icon in desktop.

I have an i7-6700(3.4ghz) and a gtx 1070 so I know it's not my specs, just don't know why I'm crashing all the time in multiplayer altis life Press J to jump to the feed. Press question mark to learn the rest of the keyboard shortcuts. Hello, Right now when launching my Windows Arma 3 server it creates the RPT file with a date/time stamp as part of the file name. Eg: 'arma3serverx642017-05-0408-53-48.rpt'. Is there a way to not have the date/time in the file name, or to specify the name of the file so I know what it is every time the server starts?

You need to write a documentation at least for: bug list, fixes list (call it changelog), then anything that is work in progress so that if you suddenly have to be away from your computer for day or two (or gosh, more), you definitely can jump right in as you can see what was it that you were working on.

No we don't mean that you document everything, but a basic thing that 'Addon XYZ porting, textures merged up until alphabet M, model cleaned up but memory LOD is unfinished), etc something like this. Believe me, when you come back from (sudden) holiday or timeout, you will appreciate your little reminder text file(s).

Arma 3 Rpt File Location

Hi, Bw1008 digital microscope driver for mac.

Arma 3 Rpt File Locations

I am new to ALiVE and I have a problem with it. When I enable ALiVE and CBA_A3 in the launcher and I start Arma 3, it does not load past the APEX splashscreen. I have disabled all other mods and tried reinstalling ALiVE twice with exactly the same outcome.. When I try to Alt+Tab out and exit arma it does not let me so I have to end it in task manager.. I have no clue what is going wrong or what I may be doing wrong but any help would really be helpful.
I have tried with both the Steam Workshop ALiVE and the ALiVE from the website with the same outcome.

Thanks.
